What Has Your Experience Been With a Realtor?

Buying or selling a home is one of the biggest financial decisions most people make. And for many people, the experience they have with their Realtor can make a big difference.

So, what has your experience been with a Realtor?

Have you felt informed throughout the process?
Did your Realtor communicate regularly and explain your options?
Did you feel like they were truly listening to what was important to you?
And when challenges came up, did you feel like you had someone in your corner?

Whether you’ve had an amazing experience or one that left you wanting more, every real estate transaction can teach us something.

Buying a home isn’t simply about finding a property. It’s about understanding the neighbourhood, the numbers, the offer strategy, inspections, financing and the long-term implications of the purchase.

Selling isn’t simply about putting a sign in the yard. It’s about pricing, preparation, presentation, marketing, negotiation and knowing how to navigate the process from start to finish.

After more than 20 years in Grande Prairie real estate, I’ve learned that one of the most important things a Realtor can provide is communication and honest advice.

Sometimes that means telling a seller what they don’t want to hear about price or presentation. Sometimes it means telling a buyer to slow down and think about a purchase. And sometimes it simply means being available when a client has a question.

My goal is to make sure my clients understand what is happening, why it is happening, and what their options are.

If you’ve bought or sold a home before, I’d genuinely like to hear about your experience.

What did your Realtor do really well? And what do you wish they had done differently?

Those experiences matter—and they help all of us raise the standard of service we provide.
