How Certain Are You?

How certain are you?

It’s a simple question, but it can lead to a very valuable conversation.

How certain are you that you want to move?

How certain are you about where you want to go?

How certain are you about what your home is worth?

How certain are you about what you can afford?

And how certain are you that you need to make a decision right now?

You don’t have to be 100% certain to start a conversation.

In fact, sometimes the purpose of a conversation is to become more certain.

Adding Value Before Asking for a Commitment

I believe a good Realtor should be willing to add value before asking for anything in return.

That might mean providing a home evaluation so you understand your current position.

It might mean discussing neighbourhoods you’ve never considered.

It could mean reviewing your potential buying power, talking about investment opportunities, or simply explaining what today’s market looks like.

Maybe you need to understand what improvements could add value to your home—or which improvements aren’t worth the expense.

Maybe you need to know what a move would actually cost.

Let’s figure that out first.

I’m not looking for a commitment from you just because we have a conversation.

My commitment is to provide you with useful information, honest advice and a better understanding of your options.

Sometimes the Next Step Isn’t a Move

Maybe after our conversation, you decide you’re not ready.

That’s okay.

Maybe you discover that moving actually makes more sense than you thought.

That’s okay too.

The important thing is that you make the decision based on information rather than assumptions.

After more than 20 years in Grande Prairie real estate, I’ve learned that some of the most valuable conversations happen long before a property is listed or an offer is written.

So, how certain are you?

If you’re curious about what your options could look like, let’s have a conversation.

No pressure. No obligation. Just value.
